with lived experience of the UK immigration and asylum system.
We bring our wisdom, credibility, and authenticity gained from our lived experience, along with our professionalism and diverse skills to the work we do.

Meet the Team
Ana Asatiani
Co-partner
Ana is a campaigner, advocate, researcher and evaluator with over seven years of professional and volunteering experience. She has lived experience of navigating the UK’s asylum system.
Her lived experience is one of her main motivations for campaigning and advocating in these areas. She has an extensive focus on the meaningful involvement of people with lived experience in campaigns and advocacy, co-production, organisational strategy, grassroots/community level organising, campaigning, and movement building.
Ana is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatry Working Group on Forced Migration and Refugees, and Refugee Mental Health and Place Network. She is co-director of the Experts By Experience Employment Initiative.
Ana has an LLM (Master of Laws) in Human Rights (Distinction) awarded in the UK.
Mishka Pillay
Co-partner
Mishka is an advocate, campaigner, researcher, evaluator, and writer with a focus on refugee rights, immigration detention, and deportation systems in the UK.
He has first-hand experience of navigating the UK's immigration and asylum system and has a particular focus and expertise in the meaningful involvement of people with lived experience in campaigns and advocacy, co-production and co-delivery.
Mishka has over seven years of professional and volunteering experience in this field.
Mishka is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatry Working Group on Forced Migration and Refugees and the Refugee Mental Health and Place Network.
